A written quote before work starts
Every mission gets a free written quote, valid for 30 days, with its scope, milestones and fixed price. Invoicing in euros or Swiss francs.

Fixed price, paid by milestone
A global fixed price for the written scope: 30% on order, the balance as milestones are delivered.
Payment terms
30 days from the invoice date.
Currency
Invoicing in euros or Swiss francs.
VAT
Quotes exclude VAT. [VAT regime to confirm: VAT exemption under art. 293 B of the French tax code, or VAT charged] For business clients outside France, reverse charge applies in most cases.
Travel
Most work is done remotely. Travel outside the Upper Rhine region is charged at cost, with your prior agreement.
Intellectual property
You own the deliverables developed for you. My generic components, such as verification libraries and scripts, remain mine and come with a free, perpetual licence of use.
Confidentiality
A non-disclosure agreement before any technical exchange, on your template or mine. No online AI service is used on your code or data without your written consent.
Liability
Best-efforts obligation, with liability capped at the mission amount except in case of gross negligence. Professional liability insurance: [insurer and policy number].
Late payment
Interest at the ECB refinancing rate plus 10 points, and a fixed recovery fee of €40 (French Commercial Code, articles L441-10 and D441-5).
How the price is set
The price depends on the scope, not on the time spent. I set it after the free diagnostic, based on the size of the code, the physics and the level of evidence you need.
If the scope changes during the mission, you receive a costed amendment before any extra work starts.
Funding your mission
Germany: Forschungszulage
For companies taxed in Germany, my R&D services can count towards the research allowance: 70% of the fee, since I am established in the EU. Depending on your size, this lowers your net cost by about 17 to 25%. Check with your tax adviser.
France: research tax credit
The French crédit d’impôt recherche only covers contractors approved by the Ministry of Research. I am not approved yet.
